Accounts Payable Administrator

We are looking for a talented and experienced Accounts Payable professional. Permanent, full time opportunity in Hastings.

About the role:

A great opportunity starting in February 2020. We’re searching for an Accounts Payable Finance Team member based in Hastings. We're looking for someone who is passionate about finance, committed to adding value to the team and driven to achieve results. The successful Accounts Payable person will be responsible for the financial activities relating to our client’s company.

You will be an integral member of the Finance Team to provide exceptional processing speed, accuracy and ability to look for opportunities to streamline processing that will deliver real benefits to better support the business. 

An interesting and diverse role, your duties will cover a breadth of financial tasks including processing and arranging local and foreign currency payments, processing vendor invoices, vendor statement reconciliation, creating payment runs for creditors, completing credit applications, reporting and analysis and much more!

Ideally you will have/be:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with working in a medium to large organisation
  • Strong technical skills and can pick new systems up quickly
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork
  • Ability to work with confidential information and to exercise the highest degree of discretion
  • Able to set high standards for own performance, demonstrate enthusiasm for the job and take responsibility for successfully completing tasks
  • Knowledge and experience in the Microsoft Office suite
