Opportunity to take ownership using your freight forwarding, export and shipping schedules / services knowledge.
- Fixed Term role (start early Feb 2020 - August end date)
- Small team; sunny, nice offices based in Hastings
- 40 hour week
Key responsibilities in the role include:
- Receiving relevant information from the customer; entering all shipment details into the company's database
- Managing document close-offs with shipping lines and sending the relevant information in a timely manner
- Creating Bills of Lading and draft House Bills of Lading
- Filing of relevant documentation
- Report running
Skills required:
- Intermediate computer skills
- Exceptional eye for detail
- Fast and accurate data entry skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Highly organised; effective time management
- Cargowise experience preferred
Thorough training will be provided in this role prior to the work load moving up a notch end of February!
