Our Napier client is seeking a Project Leader for their newly created position.
This role would suit a person with construction industry knowledge; alternatively a degree qualified construction professional with a desire to work predominantly in an office.
Skills sought include:
- Proven ability to manage project workflow internally
- Customer relationship management
- Good understanding of the NZ Building Code, building compliance and relevant Standards
- Current experience with NZ building materials and construction methodologies
- Understanding of the building and resource consent process
- Solid communication / relationship management skills internally & externally
- Attention to detail / highly organised
- Ability to direct and coordinate the work of others (approx 8)
- Take ownership of the role with the ability to work autonomously
The role works with a team of Project Engineers and Draughting Technicians to ensure, for example:
- Efficient execution of projects along with writing specifications
- Organising consent documentation
- Providing end to end delivery, ensuring projects are completed as per specifications
