Senior Project Administrator - Fixed Term

An exciting opportunity has come up for an experienced Senior Project Administrator!

  • Part time, Fixed Term - 6 months
  • Office systems and processes implementation
  • 2+ years experience in Project Management, Project Coordination or Project Administration

The Company

Our client’s strategy is to build a diversified business of the best of New Zealand orchards across a range of fruits for which New Zealand already has an established reputation and markets, including kiwifruit, apples and wine grapes.  Our client is developing a 130 hectare apple orchard in the Hawkes Bay.

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has emerged for an experienced Senior Project Administrator to join this venture.  This is a Part time, 20 - 25 hours/week, 6-month, fixed term contract. There is some flexibility around hours but generally it is Monday - Friday between the hours of 8am - 3pm.

The Person

We are looking for a highly motivated and personable Senior Project Administrator. The right person will enjoy the opportunity to work closely with a small team, learn about the industry and really feel you are contributing to the company's success as well as making an impact in New Zealand businesses.

The Role

The Senior Project Administrator will work closely with the Property Operations Manager to implement systems and processes required for the office support functions.  The office will require fitout and establishment. The Senior Project Administrator is expected to be available to attend training in the Christchurch office to learn the standardised systems and processes that are required to be used. Other systems and processes will need to be developed as determined by the specific requirements of the operation.

The success of this project will be measured by how easily a Junior Office Administrator can pick up and smoothly run the office at completion of 6 month term.

Responsibilities include:

  • Office - Fitout and Functions
  • Health & Safety – Online manual, documentation, training, etc
  • Online Processes and Systems for purchase orders, invoices, coding
  • Delivery, documentation and tracking of goods and services
  • Project Reporting and Forecasting
  • General admin duties
  • Work with various external partners as and when required

Your Profile

  • 2+ years of experience in Project management, Project Coordination or Project Administration
  • Proven interpersonal skills, high business acumen and clear communication
  • High-level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the flexibility to organise and prioritise
  • Skills to work independently and deliver to tight deadlines
  • Have strong computer, and administration skills
  • Be adaptable and flexible
