Hire Contracts Administrator

Are you a fantastic communicator who loves delivering the very best service for your customers, where you will play a key role in commitment to Deliver Service Excellence?

Our Hastings client is seeking to appoint a person to this role that is eager to take ownership and support the Manager to allow him to keep growing the business; that delivery will be to spec, on time, every time.

The successful applicant will have experience ideally in the on-hire or construction environment and possess the skills to adapt constantly to the changing demands of a service business. 

Roles and responsibilities: 

On a day-day basis you will work on the hire desk, building great working relationships and product knowledge which you will use to identify the customers’ requirements to ensure that the right equipment is in the right place at the right time.

You’ll be an ambassador for our Customer First culture, resolving any issues quickly and keeping our customers informed.

It will also be your role to manage day to day administration ensuring that this is completed in a timely and accurate manner. Naturally you will be a great coordinator, who enjoys planning and organising and working in a busy but friendly team environment. 

What you will need to bring to the role from day one: 

  • Prior experience in a role where you can demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
  • Great communication skills - both verbal and written.
  • Able to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues.
  • Effective administration, planning and organisation skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good IT/Computer skills with experience of database entry.
  • Previous experience in the hire or construction industry would be advantageous but not essential
  • Flexible and self-motivated, you will take the initiative and be keen to embrace new training opportunities.
