Sales Operations & Account Administrator

Beija Flor is a modern and stylish store in central Napier offering customers a wide range of fine and fashion jewellery and high quality accessories along with striving to provide an exceptional customer experience.  They feature top national and international brands including PANDORA, Thomas Sabo, Karen Walker, Kagi, NAJO, Stolen Girlfriends Club, Meadowlark, Zoe & Morgan, Status Anxiety, Briarwood, Olga Berg, and more.
They are seeking a highly organised Sales Operations & Accounts Administrator with a strong administration background, previous accounts experience, and a "can do' attitude to join their team on a permanent basis.  Working in a busy and varied role within a friendly and supportive team the successful applicant will play a key part in helping the team deliver great sales and service results.
Responsibilities will include:
Sales Operations
  • Sales reporting and analysis
  • Stock order preparation and processing
  • Entering stock into the Point of Sale (POS) system
  • Management of returns, repairs, warranty claims, insurance quotes etc
  • Stocktaking/inventory management
  • Developing/maintaining store processes and documentation
  • 'Super user' and administrator for the POS system 
  • Key support for training of new Retail Assistants in business processes and systems
  • Supporting Marketing and Promotions activities with data from the POS system
Accounts Administration 
  • Account Payables / Receivables using Xero
  • Account reconciliations
  • Office admin - filing, ordering office and store supplies etc
  • Daily Banking
  • IT tasks
Retail Sales
  • Cover for Retail Assistants for breaks/busy periods in store  
Essential Skills: 
  • Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Customer focused with strong attention to detail
  • Recent accounts experience, ideally with Xero
  • Confident with IT and happy to learn our POS system and how to maximise its' use
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office suite
